1 Hotel Hanalei Bay Plans to Open in September 2022

1 Hotel Hanalei Bay, the former St. Regis Princeville Resort overlooking Hanalei Bay on Kauai’s North Shore, will open in September 2022 according to a posting on the resort’s website.

The luxury hotel, marketed as a sustainable and wellness sanctuary, will feature 252 rooms, including 51 suites, along with five restaurants and bars.

Sustainable amenities including lush gardens, native greenery and organic cotton linens will complement the beautiful natural setting of Hanalei Bay. Wellness, nutritional and fitness programs will add to the zen-like atmosphere.

1 Hotel Hanalei Bay will be somewhat pricier than the former St. Regis Princeville Resort. A recent search for rooms for October 2022 returned prices ranging from $1,719 per night (plus fees) for a 547 square foot Garden King room to $15,687 per night for the 2,400 square foot Makana House.
