Hanalei Bay Resort Condos

A combination of location, views, pool, hot tub and price make the Hanalei Bay Resort condos one of the best places to stay, on any level, on Kauai. The condos are located in Princeville on Kauai’s beautiful North Shore, with views of famed Bali Hai and the ocean in one direction and mountains in another. Then, you have the resort’s tropical lagoon pool, complete with waterfall. It’s one of the most beautiful pools on the entire island. There’s also another, smaller pool with nearby barbecue grills. Eight tennis courts are located throughout the property, and courts can be reserved at the tennis pro-shop next to the main pool. The hot tub is legendary, and you’ll be digging your toes into the fine gravel at the bottom. It’s a perfect place to unwind at the end of the day, as well as meet new friends from around the world.

Hanalei Bay Resort sits on a bluff overlooking Hanalei Bay with one of the most beautiful views in the world. Many condos have views of the bay, while others have views of Kauai’s mountains. Below the resort is a trail to beautiful Puu Poa Beach. The beach is shared with the St. Regis Princeville Resort hotel (now 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay), which incidentally, has great dining options. If you don’t want to walk the 5-10 minute path to the beach, just catch a ride on one of the resort’s complimentary golf carts. Yet, despite all of these amenities, the condos are usually reasonably priced and more affordable than paying daily rates at area hotels.

The resort’s rooms are rather standard but more than adequate. Condos have kitchens and AC. Some condos can be divided and sections rented separately, with the kitchen and living room as a unit and the bedroom as another. The bedroom side is a good option if you don’t plan to cook during your stay. And the living room sides may have pullout and/or pull down beds. Convenient laundry rooms will have you wishing you didn’t bring as many clothes (but you’ll need quarters and detergent).

To top it off, the legendary Happy Talk Lounge is located at Hanalei Bay Resort, serving up locally-sourced food, refreshing drinks, live music and gorgeous views of Hanalei Bay.
