Kalapaki Beach Hut

The popular Kalapaki Beach Hut serves breakfast, burgers and shave ice at their location on Kalapaki Beach in Lihue. The restaurant is across the street from the Harbor Mall, is within walking distance of the Kauai Marriott Resort and is convenient to the Lihue Airport. It is a classic burger joint and more.

The breakfast menu includes classics such as omelettes and pancakes as well as local favorites including the Loco Moco with rice, a beef patty, two eggs and brown gravy. Lunch (and dinner) includes a variety of burgers including the Aloha Classic with teriyaki, fresh pineapple and cheese and the Da Volcano with jalapenos, cheddar and Papa G sauce. Also on the menu are Taro fries and fish and chips. For dessert, head outside to Kalapaki Shave Ice for a variety of shave ice, smoothies and milk shakes. Prices for all foods are some of the most reasonable on the island.

The Kalapaki Beach Hut is a must if you’re staying at the Kauai Marriott Resort, and is also a great choice (along with Kalapaki Beach) before going to the airport for your flight home. Open Daily 7AM to 8PM.
