In a new Instagram video post dated May 12th, 2018, Dwayne Johnson “The Rock” thanks the rescue workers and volunteers who are working tirelessly to help rebuild communities and assist local families after epic flooding on the island of Kauai. The Rock specifically mentions Malama Kauai for their work.
In the video “The Rock” says it’s so good to be back home in the Hawaiian islands and to bring a big production back to the islands. “The Rock” is currently filming the Disney movie “Jungle Cruise” on the island. “The Rock,” who is part Polynesian/Samoan, says he feels the mana, the Polynesian spirit, the aloha spirit and the fighting spirit in the island community’s rebuilding efforts.
