We sent our DJI Spark drone up over the magnificent setting of Tunnels Beach, Kauai in the Golden Hour before sunset to capture these remarkable photos.
The deep greens of Makana Mountain (Bali Hai), the exquisite golden sands of Tunnels Beach and Haena Beach Park, and the aquamarine hues of the clear waters washing over the rich browns of the beach’s famous coral reef, all come together as seen from the air. There’s a good argument to be made that Tunnels Beach is the most beautiful beach on Kauai, and these photos make a good case.
Tunnels Beach Drone Photos
We can always tell a photo from Tunnels Beach, even when nearby landmarks are not in the photo. The sand at Tunnels Beach is extra golden in our observations!
Sandbags have been placed along the beach to help control erosion from rough winter waters.
Tunnels’ famous and extensive coral reef is clearly visible from above.
