The Beach House Restaurant in Poipu is, by many accounts, the number one, most spectacular restaurant on the island of Kauai. It’s number one chiefly because of its location, location, location. Located in Poipu right on the beach, the restaurant offers spectacular ocean and sunset views of the Kauai coastline. The scenery is spectacular and the food is delectable. Many patrons time their Beach House Restaurant dinner with the sunset, and you’ll need reservations if you want to do the same. But for lunch you can usually walk right in. And if you have to wait a little, or a lot, there’s no better place in the world to wait. There is a beautiful place to wait right outside on the lawn. As for the food, there’s an excellent selection of seafood as well as an extensive wine list. The only thing we wouldn’t recommend are the burgers, though they are OK. In the end, you will be sitting at the table thinking it doesn’t get any better than this.
